"You CAN'T soak the rich"

Sorry for all the political notes lately, but I'm kind of catching up. Anyway, this article was fascinating to me. "No matter what the tax rates have been, in postwar America tax revenues have remained at about 19.5% of GDP." Look at the graph.

Hauser's Law. I did some quick checking on this and in fact this datum doesn't seem to be widely known, much less controversial. Wiggy.
